I worked as a technical curriculum developer at LaunchDarkly based in Oakland, CA.
Highlights:
- Built a self-serve customer education offering from the ground up in under 90 days
- Implemented a customer-facing Learning Management System (LMS) that has seen over 5000 end-users with 400 certifications earned and over 2500 training hours completed within the first 9 months
- Created and contributed to over 90 technical courses and certifications that increased customer confidence in using the product by 84% while 100% of potential customers said they were more interested in the product after exposure to the content
- Modularized all LaunchDarkly Academy courses resulting in more than a 50% reduction in time-to-update and revise content
- Led the architecting of company educational roadmap and curricula development in coordination with cross-functional leaders
- Developed hands-on labs to demonstrate product use cases that increased seat utilization by 25% verses accounts that did not utilize the Academy

- Created a training program to change the way Linode trains and hires its Technical Support Team in order to meet the demand of a rapidly growing company
- Designed curricula for Linux system administration, networking, and Linode cloud products and services that reduced the average onboarding time from 100 days to 45
- Trained and managed a team of six training experts who focused on specific topics that aligned with the strategy of the technical support department
As a chief pilot and school director I was responsible for the every day operations of the business and maintaining flight training curriculum under strict FAA guidelines and regulations.
Highlights:
- Managed the business and flight training sides of two flight schools (Atlanta and New Jersey)
- Oversaw a team of 20+ instructors, serving over 200 students and issuing more than 250 flight certificates a year
